HZ's Contractor LLC can provide you with a complete new open concept re-design of your home, an addition or any part of your building project. For a complete open concept re-design or addition the general steps are:

  1. General Excavation, footings and foundation walls (for some additions)
  2. Design and engineering of custom supports and beams
  3. Framing which includes sills, walls, beams, joists and roof assemblies
  4. Sheathing on the walls and roof
  5. Roofing, windows, doors, siding and gutters (if required)
  6. Interior finishing such as sheetrock, trim, interior doors and stairs (if required)
  7. Complete utilities such as electrical, plumbing (if required) and HVAC (if required)

The old wall was removed and a custom beam and supports added
Previously the opening from the kitchen to living room was 4 foot
The ceiling and new opening were sheetrocked and finished included new lights and electrical
This included custom trim and millwork for the high end look that you want in your home
This custom work shown started as a simple square build up
The addition of trim to give it depth
Then a column head from crown moulding 
To the complete column look on both ends, both sides and acroos the top

The project starts with removal of the old flat roof
The new roof is framed in and ready for sheathing
The new roof line is complete.
The new stairs to the new level are roughed in and will be completed
